The purpose of this assignment is to integrate the knowledge and skills learned in the course by designing a tour program and a marketing plan.
Part I: The Report
Design a tour program and marketing plan for the Ohio sub-region(Northeast) you have been studying as a destination with properly selected attractions and activities. The program and marketing plan should be designed for:
• Three days in May
• A group of travelers no larger than 12 people
• The travelers must have a high degree of homogeneity and be clearly defined
• Travel cost and miscellaneous logistics should not be concerned
Format your tour program and market plan as a written report (approximately 1500 – 1800 words) that that addresses the following criteria:
1. A brief introduction to a travel program design.
