Students will work in pairs or threes (or individually if you choose) for your project. The project will choose a child or adolescent case vignette from any of the following movies or TV shows:
The group will write an 8-10 page paper outlining the chosen case, selected intervention and course of treatment. In your small groups choose an intervention of interest covered in class. Your dyad or triad will read journal articles, manuals, and any other supporting materials, as well as view any available video demonstrations to gain an in-depth understanding of that intervention and therapeutic approach with children and adolescents.The paper should be organized in the following manner:I. Case Formulationa. Demographic information about the client.b. Type of Assessmentc. Relevant social and family history including current or past family stressors (e.g. who lives with child, changes in home environment, support systems, psychiatric histories, etc.).d.
