Or, if you conduct a library research on a female offender, please summarize your library research.o Application (40 pts, 3 -4 pages): Please relate your findings to scholarly journal articles/peer-reviewed journal articles: For example, let’s suppose you have conducted an interview with a female police officer and found that the officer felt the high level of job-related stress due to the balance of job and family responsibilities. Then, you should look up some scholarly journal articles focusing on the job-related stress among female police officers. Tip: It is seldom appropriate to use “I” statements in an academic paper; keep the language to third-person. (IF YOU USE THE WORD “WE”, THAT IS 2ND PERSON LANGUAGE AND ALSO, NOT VERY APPROPRIATE). Also, please keep in mind that academic writing style is very different from personal writing. Please consider the following example (source: https://awc.ashford.edu/tocw-first-person-vs-third-person.html): First person example (only acceptable for personal writing)• The theory of learning that I relate to the most is Bandura’s social cognitive theory. This is the theory that you can learn to do things by observing others. I know this theory is true because I learned how to fix cars by watching my dad over many years. Third person correction (appropriate for all other academic writing)• Albert Bandura’s social cognitive theory is based on the idea that people can acquire knowledge by observing others through social interaction. This theory was demonstrated through Bandura’s “Bobo Doll” experiment (1961).• One of the common mistakes found in student papers is that some students’ papers are, in order to avoid plagiarism, full of quotations.
